Anyone Doing NMC League Week 38?
I finally got a small MP3 player and downloaded range commands so I could shoot an NMC to stay up to speed since the local matches are cancelled. (Don't have a Smart Phone)
Date: 12/6/20
Pistol: Remington lower, Marvel conversion.
Ammo: Gecko Semi Auto .22
Distance: 25 yards outdoors
Handicap: I'm Left Handed
Shot cold (no practice)
SF: 97-2
TF: 98-7
RF: 100-8
295-17X
I made a number of changes to my deal over the last couple of weeks in order to break a long plateau and hope it continues to pay off!
In two years of shooting I have never aborted a shot. The 8 in SF may have finally convinced me to do so, as I fought it trying to save the shot...
(I post this stuff to put the pressure on myself to keep improving since I don't compete)

Nice shooting! While our local winter travel league has started, the clubs have chosen to shoot it postal style at our “home” clubs. Unfortunately my club has yet to reopen it’s indoor range. Doubtful it will happen before the next expected general lockdown here in NY. Frustrating to say the least.

Good shooting DA/SA.
JKR did a super job keeping the weekly NMC going for so long.
I was a keen supporter, but decided to "hang up my guns" after the last outdoor match of the PNW season. COVID isolating, cold weather, etc., all contributing.
I am going through a series of quarantines at present, if and when I get through that I will try to resume training with air and BB pistols in, hopefully, warmer climes. We'll see!

‘K
Very nice shooting DA/SA! Beautiful slow fire!
Wisconsin deer season rolled around, for which all things stop here in the North. We were down to only a couple shooters so I decided to let it go and see if any one missed it.
I’ll happily shoot with you if you would like. It is winter here but I have a 25 yard range out my work shop window. Even have lights on it so I can shoot after dark. I’ll get a score up in the next couple days.
Radjag, we’ll miss seeing your great targets. Hope all is well with you. Stay safe.

Gotta love .22 conversions!
Nice shooting!
Mine is the only .22 I've ever shot for Bullseye, but I've been a bit curious about Pardini's and the like, Being left handed with XL hands pretty much eliminates my chances of trying someone else's to see how they shoot, and I'm not about to but anything like that without having shot one first!

I built the lower and have been shooting the Nelson since spring. My thinking was that by doing so I’d improve with the 45. Well, after eight months I’m doing pretty well with the conversion but still suck with the 45.
I have a couple euro-guns that I like too. I shoot about the same scores with all though. However, I prefer the Walther or Benelli 90 when shooting irons.
