Attention Pardini Owners
As a Esteemed member of the Pardini Pistolero Internationale Group'e Society (Pardini PIGS) I am pleased to announce the latest addition to our esteemed guild.
It has come to my attention that none other then James Chapman is expecting delivery of his first Pardini in the near future.
Let me be the first to welcome you to our society, may you shoot nothing but tens and X's and your timed and rapids be alibi free.
Congratulations Jim! I will show you the secret handshake our next match.
Sincerely,
Cranky.
P.S. For those of you that said that the obscenely high price of purchase would protect the integrity of our membership roles, I hate to tell you that I told you so but I told you so!

Welcome and Enjoy!
I've been shooting mine for two years-I love it so much I plan to explain to my heirs that I wish for it to accompany me in my afterlife as a necessary item, just like they did for the Egyptian Kings!

Re: Attention Pardini Owners
While my .22 pistol is an AW93 (and you can only pry it from of my cold dead hands), I have recently joined the PIGS club by way of acquiring a GT45, which has very quickly become very dear to me.
Congrats, Jim and welcome!

Re: Attention Pardini Owners
Bought a lightly used SPE in 1986 for $750 with an aimpoint
mounted.
Bought my second in 2017 for a little more than that.
The pistol is lights out with the CMP bulk ammo.
you will love it I'm sure!

CONGRATS Jim
I purchased my first SP in 1992 and the second one 11 months ago . You won't regret it.
You know what they say ...... What happens on the range stays on the range

Re: Attention Pardini Owners
Hi,
Quick (somewhat) related question. Some time back, I noticed that Pardini announced that their internal lock parts were cryogenically treated for enhanced longevity. Now, it seems, there is no record of this information.
Anybody here know one way or another?
Thanks,
Jim
PS: wouldn't the G in PIGS be an abbreviation for Gruppo?

Being a new member ya gotta get it correct!
Pardini Pistola Internazionale Gruppo Society.
I am surprised that we have not heard from Tony H........Seeing as to how much he appreciates Pardini Pistols!
He probably got shanghaied by a herd of militant Mormons out there in Utah. Probably exploring that polygamy thing and putting his matchgun up for sale.

Re: Attention Pardini Owners
There is a Pardini group on facebook.
I was banned for talking against Pardini USA when I said that I was disappointed that my gun did not come with the scope mounted, nor instructions or suggestions on where to place the scope on the rail.
Shame on me.

Yeah, I think it’s sponsored and run by Pardini USA

Spend >$3000 on a gun and scope and get the scope in a box, not mounted.
They could have at least included a piece of paper saying "most people mount it here." "Don't go too far back or you'll block this screw" etc...
Did I figure it out? Yes. (Well, had to break the Loctite and move it forward a 1/4" because of that screw). Did I mount it myself? Yes. Did I have Loctite? Yes.
Do I love the gun? Yes. Am I a fanboy? Yes. But this is an expensive product. I coulda bought an AW or an SSP or something else.
To get a scope in a box and be told "We have hats, Mr. Margolis.. but they are $20. If you want to call with a credit card, we can put one in the box for you for $21." just seems wrong.

Re: Attention Pardini Owners
Like the Pardini pistols but I'm not a fan of PardiniUSA either. Unfortunately they're our only source for the time being. Perhaps if enough complain to the manufacturer distribution in the US will change. In the meantime enjoy what you have and don't let PardiniUSA spoil it for you.mikemargolis wrote:That makes it even worse.james r chapman wrote:
