Another question, how many use a trigger shoe on their 1911, if you do what does it do for you?

I only consider trigger shoes for lengthening your gun's trigger pull for your long fingers. My fingers are short.

Always make sure your trigger shoes match your belt. lol!

I've tried guns with trigger shoes as well as my Model 14 that came with a wide trigger....I don't like the width...

I once bought a used, adjustable trigger. It was short. I know I should have traded with Jack, but I wanted it for a ball gun I was putting together from various pieces. When I was done I realized it was too short and added a trigger shoe. I liked the way it felt. Today it's on my coolest Marvel.

Don't use. Have worked the line at many 2700 matches, have never seen one used.

After thinking about it, I have only seen them on older builds. Is it possible that they were needed to get the right trigger length before it was possible to get aftermarket triggers of all different lengths?
