Finders keepers

Went to a gun store in an out of the way place and they had this in their “shootingammo” table.

I hope it still shoots. 

Dang I wonder how old that is.

I would think that the old box Eley ammo would have the fuzzies" by now. My guess is the ammo dates back to at least the early 80's.

And it prolly cost that, then!

It's good stuff. Mine, while it lasted, outperformed newer stuff.

I have 50 year old ammo that still shoots

Heck I have .30 carbine ammo in original boxes dated 1943.  Last box I shot went bang every time.  Wonder where they were stored for their first 22 years? I know where they have been since 1965.  bob

I have a few bricks of that ammo.  One from the 1970s

I think, it is modern Chinese counterfeit.
