My tool to manage the Ammo Crunch a new LP 50 20210410
I waited about a month for the next batch to get to Pilkington Competition from Austria. It arrived last Friday, I had their gunsmith (Buck) set the trigger to 3.5 lbs. I function tested it with the iron sights for about 200 shots and milled and installed an optics rail for it last night. The red dot brings out the potential of this pistol. My first slow fire was a 90, then this one (95) and then another 90. It's really strange shooting a 3.5 lb trigger on a 10 meter AP after 5 years of shooting my Morini 162 EI with a 500 gram trigger!
Next test is using it with the 1911 grip adapter.

The shot count is 90 shots per compact cylinder, filled not quite to 200 bar because my scuba tank is not full. The Chrono test reveals 530 fps avg for 10 shots on a full cylinder, ES of 12 and SD of 4. This surprised me I thought it would be slower in velocity.  My Morini with a cylinder full to the same pressure shot 490 fps avg, ES of 15 and a SD of 4. I'm going to research the factory fps setting for this model and see if getting it to 485-490 avg fps will get me to more shot count without compromising the action cycling. I'm very pleased with it, I think it will help me stretch my 1.5 year ammo supply on the shelf to about 3 years which is my plan to keep shooting BE matches from now until whenever we get to a normal supply.

My only negative observation is that there is NO recoil, so you can't get realistic training for starting your trigger pressure movement at the top of the recoil cycle. I do like the fact that this AP has a 3.5 lb trigger pull. This has nothing to do with the pistol!
