Nice wheel gun. I very much like my model 14 but its a dash three, so no full length under-lug. I imagine yours'll have a feel much like a model 586 or 686 which I have shot and I like those too. Congrats on the new toy. Go punch some 10's and X's with that thing now!

To add to Tim:H11's post, I also have a 14-3 and a full under-lug would be great. I have a 586-3 6 inch and it is like aiming an artillery cannon, plus the added cylinder mass is noticeable in double-action firing.

Re: My new toy
My new one is a K14-7 full underlug. It is almost as new, unfired and looks beautiful - possibly too nice for me! I could not apply for a Background Check last year after I won it on GB because of COVID situation. I was finally able to apply for a Background Check today. I am number 5,039 in the queue. Oregon State Police are said to have only 12 staff in the Firearms Department. And I am always difficult being a non-resident Alien. Ho hum. Maybe I will get to shoot it before the end of the season?
Fingers crossed!

My last one took almost 60 seconds to approve. After a certain number I don't think they look anymore. It sure ticked off the 5 in the waiting room.RoyDean wrote:My new one is a K14-7 full underlug.
