When using 200 swc with 3.4 of Bullsye what is the crimp you use .469 or tighter .463
Yes I know every gun is different  (Foster with Kart barrel gunsmith built)

The only way to really know is to try different crimps and machine rest test or other reliable accuracy test at 50 yards. I've always used .470" taper crimp. I use Dillon dies. I think that might make a difference, too. The old test was to put just enough crimp on the mouth of the case so the bullet wouldn't push in to the case when the round was held and pushed into the workbench.

Some of the highest scores ever shot are from the 50 and 60’s and they mostly used .463

I can't get .463 without swaging the base of the bullet.  Check that before you over do it.  I can do 465" and it does seem to be more consistent on coated lead bullets than .469".

I use a RCBS taper crimp die and crimp to .464-.465 for lead bullets and .469 for jacketed bullets.  On the lead bullets I did not gain any accuracy going rom .469 to .464-.465 but the reliability jumped quite a bit in my 1911.

I use a .4685 taper crimp loading 185gn over 3.3 VN310, WST or BE. KART or Springfield barrel

Lighter loads I would go down to .463 to get a clean burn.

I think that some crimp dies are not finished inside to crimp to .463.  I tried it with a Lee fc.  Crimping tighter than about .468 came out shredded on the top brass edge

You should waste a few heads and just see how far down your crimp die will go.
My favorite 45 crimp die is an old RCBS seat/TC with the seater removed.  I also dislike cleaning lead and lube out so there I use Dillon seaters and crimpers

On the size of crimping you have to consider the thickness of the case..Fiocchi is 000,10..more thick than american case at 000,08..
