Hello, Camp Perry shooters.
As an future vendor at Camp Perry, I would like feedback and suggestions on merchandise that is not currently offered by vendors there and merchandise you would like to see more of.

Thank you for your feedback.

Lots of items for sale at perry every year, but if you want business then have what everyone needs, Ammo, primers and powder, of the type used for bullseye. powder like , clays, WST, Bullsey, Large and small pistol primers, any lower cost standard velocity 22 like CCI, Federal, Eley sport and Aguila SV, also any 45 acp and 9mm ammo, then you can bring anything else and you will have plenty of customers to see and possible buy it too.

Thanks for the feedback so far. Besides ammunition and reloading components (I will have those up there if I can get any from my suppliers) what about other things such as: optics, sights, magazines, knifes, wind flags, gun parts, apparel, ammo boxes, flashlights, gun cases, range bags or targets?

Ammo, primers and powder are the draw into your venue, anything else would put you head to head with some of the best and most trusted providers in the Competitive Shooting world.

It is interesting to listen to folks talk about vender: their favorite and those who's door they will not cause a shadow to cross. I do not expect you to please every shooter nor fail to offend some, but IMHO you could ruin a market at Perry if you fail to meet reasonable expectations.

That said, show off what you like to do and what you do best, and you will likely create a following. This may not be a banner year unless you are the only person offering a particular product that everyone has to have (surgical silicone ear protection custom fitted--I hear the lady who has done that for 30+years wants to retire) on this trip.

For me, I pick up bulky and cost prohibitive to ship things @ Perry, then things I would like to have on hand. And a new set of earplugs every other year.

Welcome to Commercial Row. May you stay through the years and have a prosperous run.

Another thing that may do well is cast bullets for the pistol crowd. Unless a person buys local the shipping can be prohibitive. Picking them up may be an advantage.
Powder and primers are popular to pick up to avoid the Haz-Mat fees.

There is so much down time between matches, you will have plenty of browsers, and people will buy anything if they like it, gun related or not. those , cooling neck bands would sell well in the heat, sun screen, snacks, anything a shooter might want but forgot to get before he heads back out to shoot

Decent prices, sure you can get CCI std vel for 600 a case, but it is really worth about $260 a case in pre-panic Idaho.

I'd love to find something available for non-ghetto prices.

Just a thought.

I was having trouble finding lighter than stock springs for my 1911 mainspring housing on commercial row last year.  Maybe assortments of 1911 parts would be something I would buy in person instead of mail order.

We will be there from the 7th thru the 22nd, right behind the armory trailers so come by and check us out. We will have some .22 ammunition, snacks, neck-coolers, flashlights, ammo boxes and ammo cans, "hopefully" some Camp Perry shirts, magazines and more. So come by and tell us what else you would like to see.

do you have any of those long wooden stick Q-tip swabs?  Like for cleaning gas tubes on AR or verifying bore on .22 is clean.

LOL It looks, in retrospect, all the pistol folks needed barn boots...and not a pair to be found. Go Figure.
