9mm ammo available at Freedom Munitions
I don't know if you all like Freedom Munitions ammo, but I have been shooting it a long time and love it. Prices used to be real nice, now the
prices are not so nice. I just picked up a case of 147 gr. FMJ and shipping is only $4.99.
My CZ Shadow 2 loves 147 gr and shoots one hole groups. At $30.00 a box it is about as low as you can find.
Ammo Shop on Line has Geco and Norma for $24 to $26 per box but when you add in tax (yes they charge tax), shipping and a $4.99
shipping charge you are around $30 a box. Ammo Shop only has 115 and 124 gr, and I prefer the 147.
It is in stock now, so if you need it, take a look.

60 centavos per round? wow at the last gunshow before coved shut everything down, I bought 1K rounds for like $180. And that was a little high....

Unfortunately, this is the new Covid generation of ammo prices.
It may be a long time before we get to the pre-covid prices. Until
then, buy or don't buy. Your choice

Also $30 per box is their remanufactured 147gr ammo, the new stuff is $42.50.

I have shot both the reloaded and factory 147 gr and see no difference in performance.
I have shot the reloaded in matches and have scored equally as well as I would have
with the factory. It is all a matter of perspective.

Thank you for the post - you recommended that ammo, and I like it more than the 115. I would buy some now, but I already bought two boxes of 400 rounds of bulk 9mm ammo from Wilson Combat. One arrived, the other I'm still waiting for.
I'm looking around for a 9mm 1911 to shoot it with instead of my Taurus PT92 AFS. :-)

my Beretta 92FS and CZ Shadow 2, love the 147gr. I am glad you like it.mikemyers wrote:Thank you for the post - you recommended that ammo, and I like it more than the 115. Re: 9mm ammo available at Freedom Munitions
I have one box of 50 rounds left of the Freedom Munitions ammo.
I'm sort of looking around for a 9mm 1911, but I'm not looking all that hard. I may have found one from a friend at my range, who knows another friend with a S&W 1911, but I have no idea how good that gun is.
I suspect in a few months, prices will come down to closer to what they were last year but who knows.
I know about your Baretta 92FS, but I don't know much about the CZ Shadow 2. I like my Taurus, but wish the trigger was more like a 1911.
Glad to know you're doing OK !!

The Shadow 2 is leaps and bounds better than a 92FS. The ergonomics are amazing especially for a double stack. The 92 feels like a 2x4 in comparison.

Here are my CZ and Shadow 2, while they feel different in the hand, both are accurate. The CZ is by far a tack driver.
The third picture is fun to shoot and has minute of bad guy accuracy, it will hit you, just don't know where.
