New Outdoor Shooter
I shot my first outdoor match this June at the Angle Three Stone
range in North Andover MA and had a great time.
Being unclassified, I shot in Master but was able to record the score in a
temporary score book.
I shot well for me and scored in expert in this 1800 match using a
Pardini BE in rimfire and a S&W 52 in centerfire.
I followed that match up in July scoring one point lower.
I am entered in the MA State shoot coming up Aug 22 and it will be my
first 2700.
I had my 1911 trigger worked on by Greg Derr and now the 45 seems to be
more comfortable in slow and timed. Rapid is still up and down.
At 69 years old the sport still has a whole lot of fun in store for me or
anyone wanting great people to be around and fun competition.
Now if I can just fine some primers and SV rimfire ammo at a reasonable cost..............

Angle Tree Stone is in North Attleboro, btw
Welcome! It's great to see some new shooters at the matches. And the scores overall are solid.

Re: New Outdoor Shooter
North Andover is correct.
I live in central MA and don't venture into the east any more than I have too.
I went to Marshfield recently and the traffic on 93 and 3 had me wondering why
anybody would live there.
I suppose if your from there you accept traffic and crowding as a fact of life.
where I live there is no traffic to speak of.
Different strokes for different folks.
