I just joined this interesting forum and look forward to participating. I'm an old guy 75 and have been a lifelong shooter and collector. As I get older I find it very enjoyable spending a day at the range shooting bullseye for a couple of hours. Being a collector I have several firearms to choose from but lately I have really been enjoying my 22 pistols and rifles the most. Most of my collecting interests have been Milsurps but I am all over the board and have an interest in Match and Olympic style firearms. I'm a happily retire Chicago Police Officer.

Cool!  I see you are from Chicago.  I use to umpire baseball with retired police officer from Chicago.  His name was Howard Mueller.  Chances are you might not have known him but that would be neat if you did!

Welcome to the forum.  There are quite a few of us from Illinois on here including a couple of your former coworkers.  As far as bullseye matches go, the outdoor season is pretty much wrapping up but there are some indoor leagues you can shoot in over the winter. Send me a pm and I’ll see if I can dig up some contact info for you.
