CCI contact
Does anyone here have a RELIABLE contact @ CCI. I've had a number of misfires recently with 2 different lot #'s and contacted them twice via tech support at the CCI website.
And once to an induvial @vistaoutdoors. NOTHING
Seems like they don't give a s__t

Re: CCI contact
I've called and emailed several times (with a different issue) to no avail..
I suspect that they're overwhelmed with the current situation, but you may be correct.

Re: CCI contact
I had similar problem about two years ago. I had very good response after initial phone call and worked through the issue via email with this fellow:
Please keep in mind that this information is from end of 2019, and hence pre-crazy era. I do not know if Duane is still there, but it is worth trying.
I must say that this company does give an attention to customers calls, IMO. Please keep in mind that they might be busy with Remington business, that was recently acquired and now being integrated with the rest of the company.

Are you talking about Standard Velocity? If so, ask them about the excess lube they've been using lately.

Re: CCI contact
The fellow mentioned by PhotoEscape was the person I tried to reach out to at vistaoutdoors.
The ammo is at least 1 to 2 years old and is standard velocity
Thanks to everyone for the feedback

Re: CCI contact
I had some misfires with CCI SV at the Coeur d' Alene indoor .22 match a couple of years ago. The referee is from the Lewiston area, and he took the remaining 50 round box to CCI. Someone at CCI took the box with the duds and gave him two 50 round boxes that he gave me at the next match.
I still get failures to fire with CCI, so now I use CCI only for practice.

Re: CCI contact
Interesting post. I never had any FTF with my CCI Standard Velocity in Ruger, Model 41, or my Pardini SP Bullseye until this year! Have had 4 or 5 FTF from new production standard velocity in matches this year. Was talking to some others at a match a few weeks ago, and the match director had also experienced that. Took apart a round and it wasn't primed all the way around.
Fortunately, I had some older I used for recent matches, new for practice only.

Re: CCI contact
I actually did not hear from CCI tech, but was able to contact Duane at Vistaoutdoors. After explaining the problems and discussing the guns ( which I thought could be the problem) He agreed to let me return the rounds in question.
They are now on their way back to Idaho
Duane was very good to work with.
These misfires were from cases bought 2 to 3 years ago, and 032 (plastic box)
