Bullseye Forum News Letter
I just received an e-mail from what appears to be the Bullseye_L Forum Trending topics and it has Political ADS/videos contain within it. I was under the impression that we do not do political propaganda BS here.
Am I in error?

Re: Bullseye Forum News Letter
The one I received this morning just had the usual junk ads? I don't think the moderators can control what ads pop up. It probably nets them a few cents to keep the forum going. I'd just ignore it.

I am talking about "Bullseye_L Forum Trending topics" e-mail, an e-mail from this Forum not this site.

The reason I am here is for the Bullseye related content of the forum, would not unsubscribing from notifications kind of defeat that purpose?

Re: Bullseye Forum News Letter
It has been running monthly for a year or so. Just a summary of busy threads. It puts itself together and sends itself. We have no control over the ads. It is highly likely your own browsing habits are influencing what you see, for better or worse!
It is of mixed use. I look at it, but don’t often click through anything. Sometimes I see something I missed or an interesting picture might draw me to look at a thread I may have skipped otherwise.

Per my experience, if you look at a lot of gun related web pages, you're gonna get right wing political ads. YouTube does this as well. I also avoid political content.

Just want to reinforce that with most ad services like are apparently in employ here, the admins do not get to choose what/which ad content you're served.
