Looking for Larry's trigger kit for new Hammerli X-Esse SF
Just bought a Hammerli X-Esse SF. I have read good things about the trigger kit Larry's Guns used to sell. I know they have changed hands and are now Red Feather Outfitters. I didn't see the trigger kit listed on the site, I sent them an email. Just wondered if there are other options or if someone may have the kit for sale. Thanks

I need one for an older model if someone has one laying around.

The X-esse trigger is very adjustable. With a little bit of tuning , I love the way mine shoots. Have you fired it yet ?

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know. I've bought the pistol but it hasn't been shipped yet. I may be getting the cart before the horse but I wanted to find out if there are any trigger kits out there. Have you weighed your trigger pull?popchevy wrote:The X-esse trigger is very adjustable. It's a 2 stage trigger, right around 2 lbs. I love it. you feel a tiny click, then the next slightest squeeze and it goes off. Very crisp and controllable, took a bit for me to get used to. It is now the benchmark for my other pistols.

I have the older model and a Steel Frame. The adjustment feel is a little different between them. The SF second stage requires a little more force.
My recommendation is to put a 1000 rounds through before swapping out the trigger. Read up on the adjustment procedure and dial in the setting as you like.
The one big upgrade from the LGI trigger is the material used for this the trigger. The LGI is metal, the stock trigger is plastic.
. The current X-Esse have a very nice trigger. I like it better than my M41 or P210.

Thanks. It's supposed to be here Thursday according to Fedex and I'm really looking forward to tinkering with it. If I can get it to around 2 lbs that would probably be fine.TicTocer wrote: I have the older model and a Steel Frame. The adjustment feel is a little different between them. I bought the stainless X-Esse SF Expert with walnut target grips. Tracking says it should get here tomorrow.popchevy wrote:Perfect Christmas present ! What model did you get ? I have the IPSC one and put a sport grip on it.

Sweet ! You will be cautioned to only shoot SV ammo though. Are you going to put a dot on it ?

I'll be shooting it iron sights in some casual 15yd slow fire matches at our gun club. I have a Marvel conversion set up with a dot sight that I used to shoot Bullseye with.popchevy wrote:Sweet ! You will be cautioned to only shoot SV ammo though. Are you going to put a dot on it ?
