Sig Romeo 5:
All but the 2 highest intensity settings quit on one of my Romeo 5s. - I contacted Sig. - They said they'd be happy to help if it isn't a "counterfeit". - - Without my purchase info, there'll be some "steps" to take for warranty service-IF it's not a counterfeit. - - Sig is being very good about it.
SO
If you get a Sig Romeo 5 get it from a known, reliable retailer - register it for warranty and keep purchase records.

PS: even with this hiccup, I like Romeo5s and definitely will stay with them on 22s and revolvers. (I'm not sure the 1 screw mount is up to semi-auto slide mounting).

I've been happy with the Romeo 5 on my 22s so far as well.  Has anyone run one on a slide mount .45 with success?

I don't have a Romeo 5, but I am running a Primary Arms that looks similar.  Slide mounted, on a 45 wad gun, I have about 5000 rounds through it with no problems.

I've had mine mounted on my .45 slide for about 2 years with no issues.

This is a precursor to the Romeo 5.  I also have Romeo 5s but not on my pistols at the moment.  I would not hesitate to use one.

I am using Romeo 5 on my 22 and Romeo 4M on my 45. Romeo 4 has been on my 45, slide-mounted for 2+ years first on my 1911 and now on GT45, with no issues.

I have both the Sig and the Primary Arms Gen II . I much prefer the PA better dot and glass. Also the new PA accept shade better than the new sigs because the shades mount flush.

At first Sig wanted me to email pics of my Romeo5 - I found/saw the video below and explained to Sig that my sight rang all the "legit" bells. They emailed me a printable Fedex shipping label & I sent the sight to them.  4-5 days later a new Sig Romeo5 complete arrived on doorstep.
