Cleaning UltraDot lenses?
My UltraDots are old, just like me. They are the 4 dot versions with 4-8-12-16 dots. Over time the lenses have become dirty/hazy. Is there some place to send them for cleaning?
Thanks

The exterior lenses are clean, I think the haziness is on the inside of the lenses.

Both tubes do screw into the body and are sealed there. You can unscrew them to get to the inside, but when you put them back, they should be sealed again, so they don't unscrew during firing. If you decide to try this, don't use padded pliers or some such device to grab the tube. Instead use a mounting ring clamped close to the body of the scope. Nitrogen inside might be nice, but probably not really necessary unless your humidity is high where you take it apart.

I suggest contacting Katie at UD USA before you do "surgery" - 805-646-2380. Your issue should be covered by UD lifetime warranty, - https://ultradotusa.com/warranty/
