Zero Bullets and Roze Distribution

WTH, received my order today and it was a wreck, boxes broken. Anyone else have problems or was this just a one off?

Out of curiosity, who was the shipper?

My recent orders have been fine. I certainly wouldn't blame Roze/Zero. I'm sure it left their facility in good shape. FedEx issue. File a claim.

Fed-Ex delivered a case of CCI SV to me that was dripping wet right off of the truck.

just received a shipment yesterday from Rose, 35 pound box in perfect condition.  UPS.

In my experience small and heavy packages have the highest chance of damage in transport.

I avoid Fedex like the plague. I have had too many problems with them.

I had Fed-Ex leave boxes of ammo on my side porch in the pouring rain with no plastic bag or any other protection. My front porch is covered and about ten steps away.

I have a box from Zero arriving today via FedEx, not having warm fuzzy feelings right now...

They did a shit job on the Case of Norma I bought as well. OK I will give Zero the benefit of the doubt.

Roze replaced missing bullets from a broken package order for me in the past, even though it was UPS's fault.  But, this type of handling makes me concerned about swaged bullets and transportation.  I used to wait until Perry to buy those.

You will have trouble with all the shippers from time to time. I just will never use FedEx from my end. It all boils down to the individual delivering the package. I always use UPS. They have their idiots too. They once delivered a $15,000 piece of test equipment to my house that was supposed to have a signature in front of my garage when the covered entrance was 25ft away. As I drove up it began to pour. I fried some ears that day.

Fedex is terrible. They couldn't find my house, said there is no such address but they found my neighbor's just fine.

Boxes beaten up, but not excessively.

Fed Ex lost a case of Zero bullets for me last year. Zero replaced them. FedEx is awful in my experience. I have had many other issues.

Fed EX some how delivered an order of 4k lead bullets in wet disintegrated boxes full of dirt and water and disintegrated cardboard. It was the worst. Couldn't pick up more than a small handful at a time. Took a few photos and sent to Rose - they resent the full order. They asked me to keep the order for 2 weeks in case FedEx wanted to look at it or claim it. After 2 weeks it was mine to do what I wanted with them. FedEx never came and I gave the mess to a local caster.  Rose has excellent customer service.

Thanks. UPS was responsible for manhandling a very expensive White Oak Armory AR upper. They had to have spiked it off the truck for the compensator to penetrate two inches of compressed foam and cardboard. Just seeing if there is a pattern with one shipper, looks like it’s more than one. 

White Oak made it right, for the record.

Curious on Roze, I have some .45 reloads on order since October 2020.

I know primers and casings and powder etc... but really? 20 months and counting!

Oct 2020 is when I ordered .38SPL reloads after sending them the brass.
After over a year, my complaints caused them to return 1,000 .38SPL empty brass floor sweepings to me. Some very little known head stamps too.
Roze apparently pleases most folks though. Go figure.

I've been changing my shipments to will calls on some orders I receive. I'd rather go down and pick them up myself, then I can inspect the box for damage and look at the contents for damage while I'm there.

I've been ordering from Roze for almost 10yrs and I've never had any problems. I sent an e-mail to them last week about if they started  up reloading operations yet and they don't know when reloaded ammunition will be back in stock. Never really had any problems with UPS or Fedex either.

Here is an update, I did call Zero to complain not expecting anything because on further review I think it was Fed EX that caused the problem. 

Later that week even though I did not ask, she sent me at least 300 heads to offset ones that were damaged in a vacuum packed bag. 

I thought that was a nice gesture.
