Cannelures Empty Cannelures

Post by chopper 5/15/2022, 10:13 pm

In another topic on 32 SW long loads for the long line Bruce brought up an interesting thought about cannelures on the bullet. I get the idea that it makes the bullet larger and helps with combustion. I've seen the cannelures around some cases also, what could the real purpose be for those?
