What Weight Hammer Spring
I'm replacing the springs in my 1911 guns and was curious what weight hammer spring/brand everyone is using.
I know the springs run from 17lb to 23lb, mine probably have the factory 23lb in them since I never specified which weight I wanted when they were custom built.

I run 19 in all my pistol. Mainspring weight has little affect on trigger pull weight

I use Wolf 15# in all my 1911's.
It's more for being able to rack the slide manually, but it will lighten trigger a little.

Thanks for the replies, I've ordered both 18# and 19# springs to see how they work out. I don't want to go too light because of primer ignition consistency.
