Smith and Wesson Model 52 Extractor Empty Smith and Wesson Model 52 Extractor

Hi Guys,

I bought a Model 52 to shoot at the “Fun Night” at my local range to see if I can harness some skills. Well, it appears that the extractor has part of the hook missing and it does not extract reliably. And from the marks on it, it looks like the previous owner had been dropping the slide with a round in the chamber. Regardless, I am looking for another extractor. Is there a source for these out there? Mine is an original Model 52, no -1 or -2.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Greetings,

The old style extractors are becoming quite rare.

Numrich was offering replica extractors (new production by a Vendor).

eBay is another possible source. However, most sellers do not know what they have. It could be be either a M52 extractor or a M39 extractor.

Cheers,

Dave
