Aimpoint turret caps
Has anyone tried these? Do they work as expected?

Re: Aimpoint turret caps
Mine work great. I added a little white paint in the arrow & letter for visibility.

I notice they are being sold for the T-2, I am wondering if they also fit the H-2? The bodies of the two dots look identical to me.

The part number at Aimpoint for spare caps is "12208 Spare" for both H2 and T2. Description says the caps fit all models of the Micro sights.

Thanks, I did find one site that sells them that said they fit both the H-2 and the T-2.REConley wrote:Ray Dash wrote:I notice they are being sold for the T-2, I am wondering if they also fit the H-2? The bodies of the two dots look identical to me.

They look good, they solve a issue many of us have, my only remaining question not answered so far is, can you feel the detents as the sight adjustments are being made with these caps?

I will let you know when they show up. I am sure someone here has them already and will probably answer before mine come in.REConley wrote:They look good, they solve a issue many of us have, my only remaining question not answered so far is, can you feel the detents as the sight adjustments are being made with these caps?

Do I feel a positive click when I adjust them? Yes.
Now I can use a coin or a screwdriver,
and I don't remove the cap.

Mine came in today, easy to install, and yes they work and I can feel the detents in the adjustments.
A trip to the hobby store for a small bottle of white model paint, and bang a tooth pick on one tip until it frays for the paint brush to fill in the arrows and U and R markings.
Ray did well showing us these.

Re: Aimpoint turret caps
I received my caps yesterday, for some reason the elevation cap does not have any tactile clicks when adjusting but the windage works perfectly.
