What class would I shoot in?
When I last shot Bullseye, I was classed Expert in NRA (2014). If I now were to shoot a CMP 2700 match, what class would I be in, at least for the first match? Master unclassified?
Thanks

From the current rule book:
3.11.6 Classification Reciprocity
Competitors who do not have a CMP classification, but who have an NRA classification, may elect to compete with their current NRA classification. After a competitor establishes a CMP classification, they may continue to elect to compete with an NRA classification if it is higher than their CMP classification, but they may not compete with an NRA classification that is lower than their CMP classification.

Since I haven't competed since 2014, I guess then I would shoot Master unclassified in the first match, right?

Yes I believe Master Unclassified. I think after 5 years you lose your classification. I lost mine and shot Master Unclassified my first match back.
NRA

Lifetime Master Classifications will not become obsolete.

To answer the question of shooting a CMP match with an obsolete NRA classification, CMP 2023 rules state:
3.11.7 Unclassified Competitors Competitors who do not have a pistol classification (CMP or NRA) must compete in the Master Class for their first competition, or a Match Program may provide for a separate category for unclassified competitors.

It does raise an interesting question: if you enter your scores from 2014 in your Temporary Score Record Book and present that to the Match Director, would the MD put you in the associated class? (I probably would, as MD.)

That is what I did when restarting highpower rifle after a 6 or 7 year hiatus. Problem with that was I was a Master anyway, so it really made no difference.

Jon is correct. I stop shooting in 1992. I got back in the shooting around seven years ago. I called the NRA up gave them my number and was told that number was invalid years ago that after five years of non-competitive shooting you have to start all over again
