Al Capone's Son shot Bullseye?
I watch a video on Al Capone's Guns. One of the pistols was a 1911, apparently set up for Bullseye Pistol. It had what appeared to be "Micro" adjustable sights, an "Ace" trigger shoe, and front strap was stippled. It also had a pair of stag grips. The video mentioned that Al Capone's son was a Bullseye shooter and probably built the pistol for his father.
Al Capone's son was nicknamed "Sonny" but his name was Albert Francis Capone, which he later changed to Albert Francis Brown. Sonny apparently did not like the "business" of his father and distanced himself from it.
Sonny was born in 1918 and went to a private school in Miami. He then attended Notre Dame and University of Miami. He lived in Miami a while( this is where it was mentioned he competed) and then moved to Auburn Lake Trails, California where he died in 2004.
Just curious if anyone has any further details?

I’m not sure Al Capone ever shot bullseye. He was released from prison early due to his syphillis and he ended up demented by the end of WW2 and dead in 1947. It might have been his son’s. The “Micro” sight and “Ace” trigger shoe are essentially post WW2 artifacts.

The pistol pictured is a 1911 and not a 1911A1 and the serial number had been removed or modified. The pistol is engraved.
I would guess the pistol was modified in steps and not built at one time.
