Large pistol Primers

Does anyone know of a source that has Large Pistol Primers in stock? I can’t find them anywhere.

brownells has a little habit of not entering the purchase quantities correctly on PRIMERS.. 

   ie, the sight will say "2 box limit" but will refuse to let you purchase 2 boxes,, and the 90$ box of 1000 primers will become a 140$ fiasco.


shydas and natchez seem to be the honest ones here..

A friend sent me info as to them offering small Sarex primers for $69.99 local pickup. They seem to have stores at several locations.

He thought the Sarex primers are from Turkey....I'm not in the market at present but did see several locations for Vance Outdoors listed and am sending this in hopes to help THE Ohio State shooters!

Yep, I live 2 miles from their store. Their CCI Large Pistol Magnum Primers are $129.99 per thousand. They are selling powder for over $60 a pound.

Also local to the Vance stores, they keep prices high to have inventory on the shelves. Keeps things from being immediately flipped on the secondary market I guess.

Thanks so much Gustavo.  I went to Shyda's and now I can have an actual BE season this Spring/Summer because you were thoughtful enough to share your primer source.

I've been going to Shydas since the 80's. There are a lot of good LGS's in PA. It was always a plus getting sent to PA for power plant repairs and bringing home good deals.... 

That's what I like about this BE Forum is people helping each other sharing information. Makes the competition fun.

Maybe primers will be more available soon.

I see Midway has Rem Small Pistol in stock now.
They also seem to have increased the primer order quantity limit to 5 instead of 1 or 2.

i tried the shydas just now, rat bastards wont let me enter credit card info until i hit the "pickup in person at our store" option.  waste of time.

Cabelas had more primers on the shelf yesterday than I have seen there in a long time.  Multiple sizes.
