I have fired it in my S&W 52. It shoots fine but I found functioning to be marginal. Likely it’s my gun specifically. If it functions in yours and shoots well, I’d use it. It is a HBWC.
For the record, my gun shoots and functions with Federal, Winchester, Remington, Sellier and Bellot, and Magtech. Fiocchi shoots well, but function is marginal.

Feeding or extraction issues? Is it lighter shooting/recoiling ammunition? Recoil spring too heavy?

Extraction issues. It feels too light to function. Since all of the others and my reloads (2.7 BE) function fine, I see no need to alter my pistol.

Greetings,
Time to dust off the old chronograph...
I did find the ammo on the Fiocchi website.
https://fiocchi.com/en/710391.html (Click on Ballistics)
200 m/s = 656 Ft/s @ 8 feet from muzzle.
Most of my Remington, Western, and Federal 148 WadCutter clock 730 FPS to 770 FPS.
I did test six lots of Fiocchi 32 WadCutter last Saturday. It ranged from 583 FPS to 700 FPS.
Another plus for loading your own.
Cheers,
Dave

At what distance from the chrono was the Remington, Western, and Federal checked?

Thanks!

I used a LabRadar. It calculates to the muzzle, V0.

I liked it a lot because it was inexpensive years ago and very mild shooting out of a revolver. I think it would not do well in a semi-auto pistol. i haven't used Fiocchi for along time, was hard to find locally.
