Some Canik Upgrades TP9SFX
Sights & trigger upgrades. First the sights. Stock ones more for self-defense than target shooting. Too big. I got smaller ones. Narrower rear notch & narrower front blade. From Dawson Precision. Front: SKU 021-097 .200" tall .100" wide. Rear: SKU 018-340 .225" tall Notch width .105" Yes these sights are for S&W and Glocks but Caniks are made to use this size. I'll try to add my pics here. Hitting almost spot on. I need to push the rear sight left about 1 mm. Also 3 trigger mods. Freedomsmith trigger drop in. Reduced power trigger return spring & reduced power spring under the firing pin block plunger. Much less pre-travel & a slightly more crisp break. Decent budget range gun. Next trip to the range I'll group all my ammo & see what it shoots best. I know it shoots aluminum case ammo pretty tight. I'll sit down with a rest at 25 yards. I do have a red dot sight which I'll try someday but I still like open sights for now.

I run a Canik TP9SFX in my local bullseye competition. I have done all of the mods, FS trigger all of the springs, Brass backstrap Blast 45 compensator, ported the barrel, thumb rest (we shoot two handed and one handed) Mecanik M01 red dot. I usually place high score against guys running hand loaded 32's and whatever else they brought. Target was shot two handed, slow fire at 50 feet.

The Freedom Smith trigger does make a big difference.
