For Grip and Trigger, there’s women and 100 lb girls that shoot better than (most of) you.

I keep reminding myself: Don’t grip too tight and be smoother on the squeezer.

It pays off.

Find someone who will reload practice ammo for. Shooting lead for practice will cut your cost, if I had to shoot factory ammo I wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn because I would only shoot matches since I couldn't afford to shoot factory ammo.
I went as far as to cast my own bullets that I use for reloading and only shoot factory made bullets for matches ( Zero 185gr LSWCHP ) Picked up 2K at Perry this year to help cut my cost.

There's something primal about holding a 1911. It just feels like an extension of my hand. I know genetic memory isn't real, but it sure feels like it's real when I hold a 1911.

So true… I have flashbacks to wars that happened before I was born when slugging hardball with a 1911. It is a special pistol.
