Bullseye/Precision Pistol in Dayton/SW Ohio

New to the forum. Hello!

How would I find where people are shooting Bullseye/Precision Pistol in the Dayton/SW Ohio area.

I have always wanted to try it.

No doubt Dane Hogle or Chris Chisholm will chime in here, but, AFAIK, there are at least three clubs around the Cincinnati area with regular Bullseye matches.

Google Ohio Rifle & Pistol Association as a first step.

There are several Ohio Indoor / Outdoor Precision Pistol events listed on the SSUSA August 2023 Coming events.

Cincinnati area has three good Bulleye Clubs that hold matches, Cincinnati Revolver Club, Miami Rifle and Pistol, and Fairfield Sportsman’s Association. Butler County Sportsman’s association has leagues. Not sure on membership status requirements for leagues at these clubs, but non-members can shoot matches.

As Roy mentioned Ohio Pistol and Rifle is a good (working to make it better) resource to find match info in the state. The website is currently being revamped, but currently does have a link to the calendar which is as up to date with all the upcoming matches that readily have information available.

Greene County (Xenia) Fish and Game has a non-sanctioned summer league shooting 600 in 22LR Thursday evenings.

Butler County Sportsman’s Rifle and Pistol club has matches. Membership is not required.

Pistol Bullseye Leagues

This is NRA Conventional Pistol. The Club supports both Indoor and Outdoor Leagues in Winter and Summer respectively. The Indoor League has both a 22 league and a Center fire League. The Outdoor League supports 22, Center fire and 45 courses of fire. In the Outdoor League a shooter can shoot the 22 all the way through and our handicap system handles the scores. All leagues are open to both Members and Non-Members. Juniors can shoot if they are able to do so by themselves and can safely handle the firearms. All Leagues are Handicapped to encourage new shooters. These Leagues are shot each Tuesday of the respective season. There is a morning relay starting at 9:00 AM and an evening relay starting at 6:30 PM. Winter League runs from First Tuesday in October to the last Tuesday in March. The Outdoor League starts the first Tuesday in May until the last Tuesday in August. The league uses the NRA Conventional Pistol rules and enforce and support all NRA and BCSC safety and range rules.
