When I read William's comment about focusing on one point at a time, my mind flashed back to my shooting coach in college when I was doing smallbore rifle.  He taught to concentrate on the current shot.  "Forget about the shot you just made, don't think about the next one.  And don't think about your score; just about the current shot."
