Leopold Red dot
My gun monger is recommending the Leupold Red dot to me. It is almost double $$ a Holosun.
Is it worth it?

If we’re talking about open reflex dot (not a tube dot) I’d say there are models available from others that have more value. SigSauer, Holosun, Vortex, Burris all have models less money than Leupold that may be more attractive.

Yep I have a bunch of Holosuns which have served me well, although the Leuopold he had was impressive with a very wide view. I think

I have a few of both the Holosun 507C and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro red dots. The Leupold has a much larger window but the Holosun has selectable reticles. The Leupold is heavier as well. I like them both but am using the Holosun more now because I actually prefer the smaller window.

Re: Leopold Red dot
Leupold does not make a red dot that competes in the current market at any price bracket. The size, footprint, control layout, durability, and battery life of Leupold optics are all a generation or two behind their competitors.
