Feinwerkbau aw 93

How picky is a AW 93 with ammo? I typically shoot cci standard and am to cheap to spring for Eley or other expensive ammo.

I think it depends on the when it was made. I heard the older ones were picky and the newer models had the chambers opened up a little for CCI Standard ammo. I have a newer model and it is not picky at all.

Not picky

Heavy wax lube on CCI built up quicker than other brands in my FWB. If I used it regularly, I would have to clean the chamber more often. Just about any SV 22 shot 1-1.5" groups in my older FWB. Unlike some of my other 22's, nothing I tried shot under an inch at 50 yds.

I prefer shooting the Euro brands of target ammo over CCI, Fed and Win because they seem slightly softer in recoil and that's what FWB uses to test the guns.

What year would be considered Newer or older? 1993?
