1911 6 inch???????

OKay I have a Jim Clark sr. "wadgun 6 inch, what disciplines can it be used for?

NRA Precision Pistol and CMP Match Pistol assuming trigger weight meets the requirements.

I'll premise my comment with....I love my Ted Yost long slide M1911 and shoot it a lot.

Long slides M1911 are tough to shoot well in Bullseye.  To shoot a M1911 with a six inches barrel as good as one with a five inches barrel, you'll need excellent fundamentals and follow through as well as an uber firm grip.  It may hold you back if you are tying to improve your scores.

Semi-automatic pistols must have a trigger pull of at least 3.5 pounds. Revolvers must have a single action trigger pull of at least 2.5 lbs.
