Range Cart - Recommendations? Empty Range Cart - Recommendations?

Post by KB2MBC 6/23/2024, 9:46 pm

I'm looking for suggestions on buying a range cart, need it for Perry.
Anyone have suggestions on a make, model and where to buy?
Thanks in advance!

I have had good luck with the foldable wagon from walmart, I got the one with the wider “off road” wheels.

I got a $30 harbor freight folding hand truck the other day in preparation for perry. Space is at a premium and it only needs to work a time or two.

I like Gorilla carts, they fold up nicely.

We used a Tipke 2100 folding cart. Was the standard at hi-power match’s when we were shooting, about 10 years ago.

After you get to Camp Perry go to Walmart and buy a small garbage can that your pistol box fits into, a cheap hand cart, and a strap.
You can put everything you need in the can and then put the lid on to keep everything dry.

Here's an example of the cheapest way to go and you can leave the can in the hut for others to us for garbage.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-20-Gallon-Heavy-Duty-Plastic-Garbage-Can-Included-Lid-Black/319265700?from=/search $16.12
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Milwaukee-150-lbs-Capacity-Foldup-Truck/104911022?athbdg=L1600&from=/search
$36.99
or

$27.05

Take a bungie cord from home or buy that at WM too.

$43. t0 $53. + tax

Hmmm, those guys from WA know how to keep warm and dry on a budget.

But for not much more money you can get one of these from the nearest Walmart (2826 E Harbor Rd, Port Clinton, OH 43452):-

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-All-Terrain-Big-Bucket-Cart-Wagon-Height-27-Blue

In stock $69. If you are not able to take it home, at the end of the matches make someone who has driven there happy and give it away!

Styrofoam coolers are waterproof and not expensive.

And plenty of garbage sacks and a few large zip bags to cover your scoring clip board.
