Hammeli 280

Is there any possibility of finding a recoil spring guide for the Hammerli 280 22LR?  The beveled front of mine has worn down and will go right through the hole in the front of the slide.  I did a little hammering on it to raise the lip a little, but I don't think this will last.

I contacted Umarex that shows it has some relation to Hammerli here in the US, but no reply.

Red Feathers doesn't show any parts like this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure it’s supposed to go through the hole in the front of the slide.

It is supposed to go through from the front, but there is a small "lip" on it just like the on the 32 that stops it from going past the end of the guide.  Once it is in and the spring is secured with the little circlip it should stay on the slide.  Otherwise the spring will pull it out as soon as you put it in.  Make sense?

This is what the end of the guide should look like.  This is the one for the 32 slide.  On the 22 rod, this is gone and only the small part I created is there.
