CMP Western Games '24 - Who's going?

Anyone going to the CMP Western Games (Pistol) in October? First time going for me and looking forward to it.

I’m going. Second time for me.

I'll be there, but only for the EIC matches.

Thinking. Complicated getting there and being 'mobile.

Mainly rifle. If any pistol at all, I'd be sure to serve as leg meat.

Shot rifle in 2014. Looking all over CMP site, calendar shows registration everyday, including up til 3PM when the final match starts at 1 on the last day.

Found nothing about sign in, day by day, or one shot to get your entire package.

Anyone who's been there recently know the answer to that?

Whether I manage to make it or not is a bigger problem. Risk driving myself ... I'm more concerned about innocents on the road if I pass out ... girlfriend drives ... flies home. Flies back to retrieve me.

If she's smart ...I'd be abandoned to the wolves ... probably just coyotes in Arizona... a slower death ... which I probably deserve ... ;-)

A few of us from Phoenix Rod and Gun will be there. Tony Silva should be there too.

Caught up with some old friends and made some new friends at the CMP Games this week, and overall had a great enjoyable time at the CMP Western Games. It was my first time shooting the "As Issued" 1911 match....fun! 
Other than a few minor hiccups with the turning target system, the CMP did a credible job running all the matches, imo. Very efficient with posting match scores online.
Hope to see more of you folks there next year. If you are coming, bring a friend!

I too was there.   Met some people from this forum for the first time, Roy Dean, Tony H and a few others.  I also reacquainted with some from the prior year and other events, it was good to catch up.  Targetbarb and TonyH won big as well as Tony Silva.  Congrats to them and the other winners.  

This year was HOT! And I Mean HOT.  But we persevered.
