Hello from Dallas

Long time lurker finally introducing myself. My name is Dalton and have been interested in this sport for some some time. I have only shot some comps many years ago in the Marines and failed miserable lmao, but have forever been intrigued. So I am trying to learn how to get better and learn more about this sport.
Does anyone know any good coaches in the DFW area?

The Terrell Pistol Club holds monthly matches. You might check them out.  There is a Texas Precision Pistol page on Facebook, where they list their matches. You might want to join it.  We hold matches here in Amarillo each month that are not registered with the NRA or CMP, but in the Spring we will hold a Pistol Sectional & Indoor 1800 in March, an NRA Indoor 2700 in April, and an outdoor NRA Regional in late May.  I will be posting the programs on here in January, once I register them with the NRA and CMP (for the EIC matches).  If you PM me with your email, I will add you to my list of competitors.
