Re: Lapau .32 heads
One of my shooting buddies is an excellent shooter and uses BearCreek .32 HBWC in his Pardini and is happy with the results,

Re: Lapau .32 heads
I am going to bet that it makes no difference but…. have a friend who shoots them well, but only at 50 feet. I haven’t heard tell of good 50 yard results. I haven’t tried them myself. Mary had Bear Creek 32 samples at Cherry Ridge.

I stock both Lapua and Bear Creek for two different .32s that have different note diameters.

Re: Lapau .32 heads
Greetings,
For those that load the Lapua bullets, 83 grain or 98 grain, please post your 50 yard ten shot test groups.
Quote the powder and amount used.
I have yet to find a load that will shoot them well at 50 yards.
Cheers,
Dave

83 grain Lapua loads
Hello This post is what i'm looking for to load the 83 grain Lapua in my 32 SWL Pardini HP32.
I have loaded 1.6 N310, 83 gr Lapua and it functioned the pistol and was very accurate at 50'.
I suspect Bullseye shoots quite well but the Alliant site does not mention the 83. I have loaded 1.7 Bullseye and a 98 Speer or Bear Creek and was an exceptional load. BUt I'm low on Bullseye Powder and I can't find any. I suspect WST, W231, W244 but nothing is listed for the 83 grain. My particular Pardini really likes the Lapua 83.
So what do you guys have for loads with the 83 Lapua? I want to be north of 760 FPS as that functions my pistol.
THoughts please!!

Re: Lapau .32 heads
So, for all of you 32SWL reloaders who question the quality & consistency of their components and / or process. I have recently been shooting Sellier & Bellot factory 32SWL WC ammo. It is relatively good price (compared to Lapua) and, IMHO, very accurate (compared to Magtech).
I have recently discovered that with a good gun/barrel, it is 10/X ring, even at 50 yards. Definitely X ring at 25 yards. I don't shoot 50 feet with CF these days.
Can I suggest that you buy some S&B. Shoot it carefully and set a benchmark for your gun/range. Only then can you judge where your reloads/components compare.
IMHO + YMMV
