Vendor recommendation Empty Vendor recommendation

I’ve posted a while back about accuracy troubles with some commercially cast bullets and after sampling now a number of vendors’ offerings, I can fairly confidently say that it was not the design of the poorly performing bullet as much as it was the quality of the casting; and perhaps some responsibility going to the poor quality of the lube as well.

My search was for a light bullet with the same accuracy potential as my 358311.  I thought I’d just share some accuracy results with a particular bullet in which I now believe the quality of the cast, is responsible.  So five stars to Matt’s Bullets.  Not only does he cast many proven designs straight from some classic Lyman molds, but he can also provide custom sizing on many styles as well as offer unsized/unlubed if you wish.
My Ransom Rest skills are not the best and neither is this the BEST of multiple groups fired; it is actually typical.

He has become a valuable source given the closing of so many casting companies

I have Matt size .358 for my .3585 cylinder throats (and .3575 groove dia.) Since he uses Lyman molds for many of his offerings and they famously drop high, I bet he could do .359 or even larger.

I ordered 500 at .358. I'll see what happens.
