I've been shooting 45 ACP Hi-Tec coated 185 gr bullets with WST powder.  I have some Hornady 185 gr jacketed bullets that I don't have prior experience with.  Should I expect the jacketed bullets to have a similar velocity as the coated bullets when using the same powder charge?

Probably slower. You don’t give a load so if it’s too light, beware of getting one stuck in the barrel

Paulj  -  185gr. jacketed bullets generally group best when the MV is in the 750-780fps range.  I use 4.5 of Bullseye with the Zero Jacketed Hollow Point bullets.  Your results may vary.
