NRA Award Coupons
I am fairly new to Bullseye. I occasionally receive award coupons from the NRA for competing in tournaments. What are they redeemable for? They have a "Not Valid After" date on the bottom, yet the ones I received today had a slip of paper with them stating that they do not expire. As usual, I'm confused...

Re: NRA Award Coupons
I got some in the mail today and I have no idea what for. I do know what you can do with them. Each point is worth $1. You can use them for match entry fees or send them to places like Champions Choice and use them for merchandise.

Ok thanks. I found no reference to them on the NRA website either.

I always use them to pay the entry fee for the State Pistol championships.

Re: NRA Award Coupons
My shooting mentor (a guy who started shooting Bullseye in the '70s) said that the NRA Award Points were devised as a way to pay military (US Marines?) servicemembers match winnings in a way that wasn't actually cash/money, but could be used as cash/money for NRA-sanctioned matches (he mentioned that it was due to the Carter Administration's decree that servicemembers could not receive monetary rewards). Thus, Award Points can be used for entry fees and for some other things.
Yes - although the points do have a printed expiration date, they will be accepted at any time and do not actually expire.
