NRA Pistol National Championships to Cardinal !

First, I would like to set the record straight. In 2019, Cardinal started the 4 Gun Showdown as the third match in Ohio. This match was scheduled in front of the Bickar Memorial held at Canton McKinley, not to compete with it but to enhance the overall experience in Ohio. That year as some know, the NRA announced they were moving to Camp Atterbury for 2020 when competitors were on the firing line at the first Cardinal match.

Now after 5 years at Atterbury, we see the NRA has made the decision to move yet again. So, Cardinal has been in talks with the NRA to bring the 2025 NRA National Pistol Championships back home to Ohio. I am happy to announce that the agreement has now been reached and contract signed. How would this work?  Well here is how. The Cardinal 4 gun match is now replaced by the new NRA National Pistol Championship. The proposed dates are July 5th - 9th.
The NRA NPC would now become the first round of the Ohio triple crown. The Triple Crown will be the 2700 scores from the NRA NPC, The Bickar Memorial held at Canton McKinley, and the CMP,s National Matches.
Cardinal would be responsible for the running of the  entire match.
Cardinal is also working on lunch and dinner options like at Canton McKinley, along with a swap meet and other side events such as trap,skeet,sporting clays combinations. This would now decrease the amount of time and vacation one would have to use to compete in the three largest bullseye pistol matches in the country to two weeks.
