Zins-Moody Clinic in Minnesota or Wisconsin
Wondering if there are any Zins-Moody Clinics scheduled in Twin Cities or Wisconsin coming up? I tried going to Brian's site but info seemed out of date. Thanks,

I don't know but count me in and if there isn't any scheduled I bet we can get enough interest to set one up.

I think I could find a couple of others here in the Eau Claire/Bloomer/Rice Lake area.

Looks like a couple of years ago the Oakdale Club hosted a Zins-Moody Clinic. Wonder if they would have interest to host another one?

Scott Soik and Kevin Czerwinski wanted to set one up near Steven's Point and they had other interested people as well.

I would absolutely attend. Does anyone know how many shooters it takes to fill a clinic?

Maybe you Menomonee Falls guys could team up with the Stevens Point guys so it will be more accessible to the Minnesota crowd. It would probably draw more participants to get the price per person down.

I would travel to Menomonee Falls. Stevens Point would be a couple of hours closer for me.

Re: Zins-Moody Clinic in Minnesota or Wisconsin
I just put together a clinic last month in Oak Harbor, OH. Just email Brian brian.zins@gmail.com. He always replied within 24 hours. He did say he doesn't like doing clinics after April. In May I know he is generally competing every weekend and he also said it messes with shooters performance to change their routine that close to Perry.
It is a two day clinic 8-5 each day. We were in the classroom until 3:00 the first day and spent the majority of time shooting .22. I had no trouble getting shooters signed up. We had a waiting list and only one person cancelled.
Couple things to remember. In addition to Brian's fee, make sure you take into account any range fees, target costs, and lunch. Brian and Andy do not cover those. Myself and another shooter brought in lunch for everyone and took donations to cover target cost.
The clinic is more than worth the time and money spent to put it on. In fact, what you learn before 3:00pm on Saturday is worth the price. When you think about what trap and sporting clay teachers charge, it is a bargain.

As Rob said above, we have wanted to get one set up for some time now in central Wisconsin. We have a verbal commitment from the club president to use our indoor range at Wood County Rifle and Pistol in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Ten indoor lanes with turning targets (we can shoot 45 cal), classroom, and dining.

I can guarentee I would attend and, depending upon the date, might be able to have two others as well. Do you want a deposit?kczerwin wrote:As Rob said above, we have wanted to get one set up for some time now in central Wisconsin. Too early for a deposit but thanks for the enthusiastic reply. We'll try to get a few more pieces in place ASAP and if it comes together I will post the announcement here. As sixftunda pointed out, Brian's schedule is tight. April will be here before we know it. Maybe it will even get warm...

Minnesota, northern Iowa, any clinics scheduled?

Chip. These things aren't scheduled all that often. You are just going to have to wait until Kevin schedules a date with Brian.

Chip and others:
No matter what Brian and I tried, there was always a conflict. I will not be able to host a bullseye clinic in central Wisconsin this spring. As sixftunda pointed out, matches really crank up in May and there were no available dates when we looked at the range schedule, my schedule, Andy's schedule or Brian's. We'll have to put this on the back burner and try for sometime after Nationals.
