load for bullseye handgun
I have a SW 586 6" revolver. I have shot it for a while, but I know it is an accurate handgun . I am going to try loading up some ammo for bullseye targets. I have not loaded lead bullet ammo for a long time, only jacketed bullet for hunting. I have located some 148 grain horn HBWC bullets and I have Bullseye powder; how deep do I seat them?? thanks. ron

Just a skosh above the case mouth. Flush with the case mouth is ok, but I like the extra skosh to give the crimp something to crimp against.

HBWC are seated flush with the end of the case. On another note there is no reason that you have to switch to lead bullets. The jacketed ones are very accurate and if you have a bunch of them don't be shy about shooting them in bullseye.

Yeah, we generally shoot lead to save gold and silver.
The number of shots downrange some people do in a year just amazes me.
