1911 Magazine Springs
I bought a 1911 and it came with two mags with "magnum" weight springs . They are even hard to reload.Anybody know what weight springs to replace them with ? Wolff sells 6lb-7lb-8lb-9-lb springs ....which weight is best for bullseye light loads ?

Re: 1911 Magazine Springs
I always use the 6lb spring. And I replace the spring in a new mag as well to that 6lb spring. To much mag spring can cause all kinds of functioning problems.

I agree with this 1000%..the myth of the "tactical mag spring"..
