Moderators please help

A friend was once a member and wishes to rejoin. He doesn't remember his username and can't re-register because the list remembers his email address. Is there a way to find out his user name?

I think it's helpful when people use their real name as their username.  That way when we bump into each other in the real world we don't have to wonder if that guy over there is dude123.
