You have a real beauty of a revolver there. Let us know how it performs.

Re: New DSR for Me!
Bought the gun as a shooter. Forcing cone and muzzle look good. Trigger is a bit heavy. I'll put in a spring kit and swap out the grips for some aftermarket grips. Planning to give it a good chance to perform with a good 158/160 grain bullet. If it chooses not to I've got old S&W collector buddies waiting in the wings to trade me out of it.

Beautiful looking gun with a lot of character. I just purchased a S&W Model 27-2. Looking for it to arrive next week.

Re: New DSR for Me!
In the early 80's I sold a 6" LNIB 27 with the 3-T pkg to my kid brother for $200. Being the bull headed obstinate kind of person he is, he won't sell it back to me for the same price, go figure:)
These were really beautifully made.

Shoots pretty good... Front sight way to tall for the load this morning. I'm going to slow it down a bit and see if I can't get the impact up a bit without a sight change.
