Indoor versus outdoor range results?

I didn't get out to the range early enough to beat the heat this morning and later moved my practice to an indoor air conditioned range.  I shot the same guns/ammo and noticed improved results indoors.  Distances were also the same.  Why would the indoor results be better?

The true question in my honest opinion is;
What do you think caused your indoor results to be better.
To many variables and you are the only one that can realize those variables.
Take notes, make a log.
Was the climate change that made the difference.
Was it the lighting.
Were you able to see the sights better.
Was a more sturdy platform compared to the ground.
ETC...
My scores are the same indoor or out.
Not trying to be an ass.

Agreed...wind would be another consideration...who/how many shooters were on the line with you.  All kinds of stuff plays in to it.  I keep a notebook too.
