Bill Davis grips for S&W K-L

The Bill Davis long K-L square frame grips were not available for years. Mirror image halves with, for me, perfectly located palm swells. My favorite revolver grips. -- Russ

Bill Davis was not only an excellent gunsmith, he was a very accomplished PPC competitor.  He and Jerry Eason were a formidable two man team. Jerry utilized the Davis Grip to use an underhanded two hand grip for barricade shooting. I noticed this unorthodox style at the PPC Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa in the very early  1980s. I practiced all winter in my basement, dry firing to get accustomed to Jerry's grip style... It worked very well for me in the years to come. The Davis grips where very popular with the PPC shooters.
