Sonic Care Toothbrush
...so I had an old SonicCare electric toothbrush that vibrates really fast. Put parts of my .45 in a large clear garbage bag and tried cleaning with electric toothbrush. Worked like a champ. I did it inside the bag because the toothbrush vibrates so fast it throws the gun cleaner solvent in a fine mist. My guess is this will work equally well on my rifles. Just do not push hard or leave it on very long. Suspect it might go through blueing if you pushed or did too long.

Poor man's ultrasonic cleaner... The real thing would likely clean better, with less work and none of the mess. But hey, I'm glad you found a use for your old toothbrush.

I'll bet there is a way to use a sonic toothbrush and duct tape to rig a really neat cordless brass cleaner for use at the range.
