Yes.  It is good.  Try 4.3-4.5gr

i loves me some red dot!
i run it LOW
3.2 or 3.4 gr
not saying thats best but it sure is economical
that is IF you can find any on a shelf
im down to about 3oz and am saving it for emergencies

but i bet 185s would be fine
just have to mess with it
quickload says with 1.250" using the 200gr
3.2gr gives you 719fps and 3.4 gives 749fps
perfect!!!
i just got a chono yesterday
and i will be testing all the loads ive messed with
so stay tuned

No, I haven't used it but if it shows up when I run out of 700-X and nothing else is available, I would not hesitate to use it.

I've been using red dot fir several years. I only use it indoors, no particular reason, just cuz. I run about 4.2 gr under 185gr heads. Shoots really nice and soft, seems very accurate. I acquired a 12lb keg from a retired shotgunner some years back for like $50. Ah, those were the days...
